SailGP started this weekend in Sydney, Australia and Great Britain, with Sir Ben Ainslie as skipper, got off to a great start to the series by claiming the first event title. Great Britain are top of the leader board with 47 points.
The next event takes place in San Francisco on 2nd/3rd May 2020 where racing will take place in front of the Golden Gate Bridge. Last year around 22,000 spectators watched the first US debut of SailGP. The sailors will then head to New York on 12th/13th June 2020 before heading to Cowes on 14th/15th August 2020.
Tickets will soon be available to buy for the Cowes event, you can watch the sailing from the shore at Egypt Point or book your space on the water and watch the event from the comfort of your own boat.
