It’s only 8 weeks until the Round the Island Race 2022, have you got your entry in yet?
The race is pretty simple – start at Cowes on the Isle of Wight and head West and just follow the coastline until you arrive back in Cowes – easy! Obviously a bit of navigation is needed to avoid the main hazards such as The Needles, St Catherine’s, Bembridge Ledge and Ryde Sands but it’s a great day whether you are an experienced racer or just enjoy sailing.
There’s normally over 1000 boats that head to the start, the fastest boats only take a few hours whereas the smaller cruisers can take up to 12 hours. If you’d like to enter click HERE
